For starters I apologize for the crappy quality of this. It had been resaved a few times and I've since lost the original PSD image. -___-

Furthermore I am aware there are other ways to do this. This is the way I prefer to do ^^ It literally takes like 10 seconds so its good enough for me.

Haha, just glad you posted the masking way to isolate lineart. Always a MUCH better way to do so. Cleaner and less of a hassle. (Of course, I have mine set as an action so I only ever need to just click and go. ^_~ )

That's similar to the technique I use to get my outlines seperated. ^^

The "colouring" technique might come in handy.

I think the final product here works nicer than the RGB method. I've tried both and seeing as how I'm anal I think this is more true to the original lineart when its finished

I seriously think you need to make a line art tut, cuz I can never get mine to look as clean as yours.

well I wouldn't know where to begin. Since the only rhyme and reason behind my lineart is I ink at ridiculous high resolutions and then zoom in to like 2 or 300 percent. And I do my lines in quick fluid motions. Also I dont know if you know anything about painting but they encourage you do your strokes by moving your arm not your wrist. I ink similar. Most of the movement comes in my entire arm.
